About the position
The Human Resources Manager at Robert Half will be responsible for managing and overseeing the company's HR functions, which include employee relations, benefits administration, recruitment, training, workman's compensation, and ensuring compliance with labor laws. This role is crucial in developing HR policies and fostering a harmonious working environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to support overall business goals.
- Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, conducting effective investigations.
- Oversee and administer employee benefits programs.
- Work closely with department managers to assist in hiring and training initiatives.
- Provide guidance on business unit restructures, workforce planning, and succession planning.
- Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable HR federal and state compliance requirements.
- Handle workman compensation matters effectively.
- Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures for continual improvements in HR efficiency.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5+ years in HR management roles.
- Prior experience in formulating and implementing HR processes and procedures.
- Extensive knowledge of employment laws and compliance requirements.
- Proficient understanding of workman's compensation matters.
- Ability to develop strong working relationships with all levels of individuals.
- Pro-active problem solver.
- A degree in Human Resources or related field is highly desired.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
