About the position

The Human Resources Manager (HRM) at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Sunnyvale is responsible for overseeing strategic workforce planning and day-to-day HR operations within the hospital. Responsibilities

• Develop and execute HR strategies that align with hospital business plans.
• Champion a high-performance culture focused on quality patient care and employee engagement.
• Deliver core HR services including recruiting, employee relations, and compliance.
• Drive efficiency in HR operations and manage staffing and compensation metrics.
• Foster employee engagement through recognition programs and internal communications.
• Oversee strategic workforce planning and develop staffing models.
• Participate in leadership development programs and talent management strategies.
• Ensure compliance with HR regulatory requirements and respond to EEO complaints.
• Collaborate with compensation and benefits teams to implement effective policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, HR Management, or related field.
• 5 to 7 years of experience in a top HR leadership position, preferably in a hospital setting.
• Master's degree or SPHR certification preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Proficient in HRMS and various HR-related software.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Taleo and other HR management systems.
• Ability to type 60-70 words per minute accurately.
• Demonstrated track record of driving high organizational performance.
