We are seeking a skilled Human Resources Manager to oversee all aspects of HR practices and processes at Reich Tool & Design, Inc. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in HRIS systems, benefits administration, performance management, and possess strong data collection abilities. This role requires strategic and innovative thinking to human resource practices and programs, creating a climate for change in areas such as retention, recruiting, and employee engagement. The HR Manager will ensure compliance with State and Federal guidelines and laws, including EEO, AAP, ADA, FMLA, OSHA, Workers Comp, COBRA, ERISA, 5500 filings, ACA, and Apprenticeship Enrollment, while preparing reports required by regulatory agencies. The HR Manager will establish and implement all HR programs, including performance recordkeeping/appraisals, employee benefits management (health, dental, vision, HSA, HRA, FSA, Long-Term Disability, Voluntary benefits), online insurance enrollment portal maintenance, annual benefits enrollment, payroll interface and benefits maintenance, 1095 reporting, safety and health programs, career development, wellness & culture initiatives, background checks, drug screens, FMLA and other leave requests, and recognition programs such as Spotlight and Employee-of-the-Quarter awards. The role also involves selecting and coordinating insurance brokers and carriers, consultants, pension administrators, training specialists, and outside resources. In addition, the HR Manager will develop and implement standard recruiting and placement practices and policies, including advertising, job boards, job fairs, interviews, and other forms of sourcing candidates. The administration of the 401k plan, including new hire enrollment, semi-annual fiduciary review, plan and investment changes, and annual compliance reporting, is also a key responsibility. The HR Manager will coordinate orientations and onboarding for new hires, manage the termination process for employees leaving, and create and maintain required paperwork, files, and reports for personnel, payroll education, and HIPAA compliance. Training and education will be provided where required, supporting the company’s EEO, employment, and harassment procedures and policies, while monitoring employee compliance with these policies. The HR Manager will also develop and update job descriptions and define compensation benchmarking to ensure competitiveness in the marketplace. Additional responsibilities include building security and FOB administration, co-chairing Safety and Wellness committees, and involvement in community events. The HR Manager will identify opportunities for continuous improvement in processes, practices, and policies, contributing to best practices within the organization.
