About the position

The Human Resources Onboarding Coordinator will play a crucial role in the human resources team of an established organization. This position is responsible for managing the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring compliance with documentation and background checks, and providing support in various HR functions. The ideal candidate will thrive in a hybrid work environment and demonstrate strong organizational skills to meet deadlines effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Verify, document, and track certifications and education.
  • Conduct background checks.
  • Assist with the completion of new hire paperwork.
  • Track applicants in HRIS system.
  • Create new employee digital file.
  • Assist with benefits enrollment.
  • Set up new hires in payroll system.
  • Provide timely correspondence with all applicants via email and phone.
  • Review state and federal tax forms for compliance.
  • Provide assistance with compliance related tasks as needed.

Requirements

  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe Pro, Outlook.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a dedicated HR role.
  • Experience with HRIS systems, Paycom, and E-verify.
  • Previous onboarding experience in a fast-paced environment with large volume onboarding.
  • Extreme attention to detail.
  • Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.

Benefits

  • $23 hourly pay with some mandatory overtime required.
