About the position

The Human Resources Onboarding Coordinator at PSSI plays a vital role in ensuring a positive onboarding experience for new hires. This position is responsible for managing the onboarding process from offer acceptance to the first day of work, ensuring compliance with federal and state guidelines, and facilitating a smooth integration into the organization. The coordinator will also work closely with various teams to enhance the onboarding experience and maintain accurate records in the HRIS system.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee the entire onboarding process for new hires.
  • Audit onboarding documentation for completeness and compliance with guidelines.
  • Evaluate candidate eligibility for hire through background checks and E-Verify.
  • Facilitate calls and prepare packages for new plant start-ups.
  • Track and manage new hire data in HRIS, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Regularly update onboarding documentation to align with company policies.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance the onboarding experience based on feedback.
  • Create and distribute reports on onboarding progress and performance.
  • Coach cross-functional partners on PSSI policies and procedures.
  • Identify and communicate trends and solutions to partners.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in an HR or office administrative position.
  • Proven organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated professional communication skills (oral and written).
  • Efficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe products, and HRIS systems.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree in business with human resource emphasis or relevant work experience.
  • Bilingual (Spanish) skills for written and verbal translations.
  • Previous experience in onboarding or human resources in a fast-paced environment.
