About the position

The Human Resources Operations Coordinator at CN is responsible for delivering exceptional service to employees and leaders in a high-volume contact center environment. This role focuses on service delivery excellence, responding to inquiries related to various HR topics, ensuring employee data integrity, and supporting HR Centers of Excellence with various tasks. The position emphasizes collaboration, process optimization, and maintaining productive relationships within the HR team and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure management staff actions are processed accurately and timely.
  • Participate in data cleanup activities and support data quality audits.
  • Respond to employee and leader inquiries using an omni-channel strategy.
  • Investigate employee concerns and collaborate with HR team members for resolution.
  • Act as the first point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR processes.
  • Develop and maintain productive relationships with HR and non-HR stakeholders.
  • Support candidates with background checks and assist with onboarding processes.
  • Prepare and complete employee record requests and process HR internal invoices.
  • Contribute to various HR initiatives including benefits, wellness, and recognition programs.
  • Participate in ad-hoc projects as needed.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 to 3 years of customer service experience.
  • Minimum 1 to 3 years working with Systems, Applications and Products (SAP).
  • Previous HR experience is preferred.
  • Previous high-volume contact center experience is an asset.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Human Resources or equivalent.
  • Chartered Professionals in Human Resources (CPHR) or in the process of becoming certified.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of accounting is an asset.
  • Any additional HR designations or certifications are considered an asset.
