You will have the exciting opportunity to engage with hiring managers to understand the talent needs, challenges, and priorities to build sourcing and go-to-market strategies for identifying and attracting top talent. In this role, you will contribute to operational excellence in HR by efficiently and accurately executing processes related to employment compliance, payroll, absence management, time tracking, benefits administration, and employee data management. You will provide an excellent service experience when executing employee-facing processes and proactively identify opportunities to improve the employee experience, quality, velocity, and/or cost of HR processes. Additionally, you will support the maintenance of an HR Operations knowledge database and the gathering and reporting of HR operational metrics.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with hiring managers to understand talent needs, challenges, and priorities.
  • Build sourcing and go-to-market strategies for identifying and attracting top talent.
  • Execute processes related to employment compliance, payroll, absence management, time tracking, benefits administration, and employee data management.
  • Provide excellent service experience in executing employee-facing processes.
  • Identify opportunities to improve employee experience, quality, velocity, and cost of HR processes.
  • Support the maintenance of an HR Operations knowledge database.
  • Gather and report HR operational metrics.

Requirements

  • Degree or equivalent experience desired.
  • Experience working in Caterpillar preferred.
  • Experience supporting Logistics or Manufacturing Hourly Production employees preferred.
  • Knowledge of business process improvement best practices.
  • Ability to identify, capture, and document relevant business information in an organized manner.
  • Knowledge of customer service concepts and techniques.
  • Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy in tasks.
  • Knowledge of employee relations rights and obligations.
  • Knowledge of human resource function and ability to implement HR-related tasks.
