About the position

Anew is seeking a Human Resources & Operations Manager to support its mission of preventing domestic violence and providing services. This role is crucial in fostering a trauma-informed, diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace, focusing on employee engagement, support, and retention. The manager will oversee various HR functions and ensure the operational integrity of Anew's facilities, contributing to a safe and effective work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage talent acquisition, management, and retention processes.
  • Enhance employee engagement and support initiatives.
  • Oversee compensation and benefits administration.
  • Ensure compliance with HR policies and safety regulations.
  • Maintain operational, safe, and clean workspaces and equipment.
  • Collaborate with other departments to improve HR and facilities programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • At least 3 years of human resources experience.
  • Experience in a non-profit, social service, or trauma-related environment is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in employee engagement, talent acquisition, and performance management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and database management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong research and problem-solving abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience working with Paychex.
  • SHRM certification.
