About the position

The Human Resources Operations Specialist at Gentiva plays a crucial role in supporting HR operations across branches, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, and maintaining accurate personnel records. This position is integral to the HR team, focusing on audits and compliance while partnering with branch stakeholders to uphold HR policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Support and partner with branches on HR Operations-related processes.
  • Perform audits and ensure personnel file compliance.
  • Maintain accurate associate personnel files and records.
  • Ensure compliance with state, federal, and industry laws and regulations.
  • Serve as a resource for relevant HR policies and procedures and HR systems.
  • Generate and review reports, partnering with branch stakeholders to ensure accuracy of associate licensure, certification, and education records.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in an HR role with a focus on compliance, auditing, or HR operations.
  • At least six months' experience working in a home-based care environment.
  • Familiarity with audit processes and internal controls related to HR operations.
