About the position

The Human Resources Operations Support Specialist is responsible for managing the hiring process for internal employees and supporting the HR Service Center by addressing employee inquiries related to HR matters. This role requires a technical mindset to handle various systems, particularly SAP, and involves significant customer interaction in a call center environment. The position is hybrid and temporary, with a focus on providing excellent service to employees while managing conflicts effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the hiring process for internal employees in the system.
  • Field internal employee inquiries related to HR through the HR Service Center.
  • Input information into SAP and manage various HR systems.
  • Handle upset employees and manage conflicts in a customer-oriented manner.
  • Work in a call center-heavy environment, requiring strong communication skills.

Requirements

  • BS degree in Business, Human Resources, or a closely applicable field, or 4+ years of work experience in a Human Resources role.
  • 2+ years of experience in a customer service role.
  • 2+ years of experience using and learning various computer software and systems.
  • Experience managing confidential data and dealing with difficult situations.
  • Proficiency in Excel.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with SAP is preferred.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English is strongly preferred.
