About the position

The Organizational Development Specialist at MemorialCare plays a crucial role in enhancing organizational effectiveness and employee relations. This position involves partnering with HR leaders and management to design and implement talent initiatives that align with the organization's mission and strategic goals. The specialist will focus on leadership development, succession planning, and change management, ensuring that the workforce is equipped to meet business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze business structures, procedures, processes, and resource utilization.
  • Provide change management support for HR and organizational strategies.
  • Collaborate with HR partners and department leaders to create solutions for team effectiveness.
  • Lead and implement strategic talent initiatives such as leadership and career development.
  • Design and implement developmental initiatives, action plans, and training materials.
  • Create and deliver change programs including training and stakeholder engagement.
  • Manage organizational development projects from initial contracting to post-evaluation.
  • Understand business priorities to support the design of the organization's operating model.
  • Design customized organizational development interventions for team effectiveness and alignment.
  • Measure the effectiveness of talent development programs and recommend improvements.
  • Lead talent management initiatives including onboarding and performance management.
  • Develop methods for measuring the effectiveness of organizational development programs.
  • Collect data, track progress, and report on trends to recommend actions.
  • Partner with executives to design and assess major organizational change projects.
  • Document processes and present progress reports to executives.

Requirements

  • Experience in organizational development and effectiveness.
  • Strong knowledge of change management principles.
