About the position

Veranda Gardens, a skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility located in Cincinnati, OH, is actively seeking a Full-Time Human Resources/Payroll Manager to join our dedicated team. This pivotal role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities related to human resources and payroll management, ensuring the smooth operation of our facility's workforce. The HR/Payroll Manager will be tasked with overseeing all HR functions, including but not limited to recruiting, scheduling, hiring, retention, training, and payroll processing. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in fostering a positive work environment and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and policies. In this role, the HR/Payroll Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies that align with the facility's goals. This includes managing employee relations, conducting performance evaluations, and facilitating training programs to enhance staff development. The HR/Payroll Manager will also be responsible for maintaining accurate payroll records, processing payroll in a timely manner, and ensuring that all payroll-related inquiries are addressed promptly. Attention to detail and a strong commitment to customer service are essential qualities for this position, as the HR/Payroll Manager will interact with employees at all levels of the organization. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of two years of experience in human resources management, with a strong background in payroll processing. An Associate's degree in Business Administration is preferred, along with experience in long-term care (LTC) settings.
