About the position

Cirexx International, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Human Resources/Payroll Specialist to join our team in Santa Clara, CA. This full-time position is integral to our operations, providing essential support to the Vice President/CFO and assisting with various HR-related duties, including payroll processing. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining employee relations, ensuring compliance with HR policies, and managing employee files. With over 40 years of experience in PCB manufacturing, Cirexx offers a dynamic work environment where you will be responsible for onboarding and termination processes, time card administration, and benefits administration. You will also be tasked with administering bi-annual compliance training and handling leaves of absence, ensuring that all HR functions are executed with a high level of confidentiality and ethical standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong conflict resolution skills and the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. You will be expected to manage day-to-day activities with minimal supervision, demonstrating initiative and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Familiarity with Paylocity or similar payroll software is essential, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. This position requires a high school diploma or GED and at least two years of experience in HR and payroll processing. While prior experience in the printed circuit board industry is preferred, it is not mandatory. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and the role is based in our state-of-the-art facility in the heart of Silicon Valley.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Vice President/CFO with all HR related duties including payroll processing.
  • Support Human Resources Management and Senior Management.
  • Administer onboarding and termination processing.
  • Maintain employee files and ensure legal compliance administration.
  • Handle time card administration for non-exempt employees.
  • Manage leaves of absence and benefits administration.
  • Administer bi-annual compliance trainings.
  • Communicate effectively with employees regarding HR policies and payroll processing.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • 2+ years' experience supporting Human Resources and payroll processing using Paylocity or similar software.
  • Strong conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to handle employee relations matters.
  • Good understanding of HR policies and payroll processing.
  • Basic computer skills with strong proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in written correspondence.
  • Strong ethical skills and a high level of confidentiality.
  • Ability to plan and execute day-to-day activities with limited guidance.
