As a People Specialist in Field Operations, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth transition and retention of new hires while maximizing employee placement to meet operational needs. Your proactive and detail-oriented approach will be essential in supporting our mission and enhancing the overall employee experience. As a People Specialist, you will coordinate schedules and logistics for new hires, ensuring a welcoming experience. You will collaborate with Operations Site leaders to confirm communication with new hires and regularly assess ongoing changes to shift availability. Additionally, you will partner with the Talent team to develop retention strategies aimed at fostering a positive workplace culture and increasing employee satisfaction. Your role will also involve providing administrative support, identifying opportunities for process improvement, and performing any other duties as assigned by management.

Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with Operations and Talent teams to assess staffing needs and facilitate effective employee placement to meet operational demands.
  • Serve as a liaison between departments to communicate scheduling requirements and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Analyze call-off trends to determine priority talent gaps per market and account.
  • Utilize data to influence hiring and placement strategies and improve decision making.
  • Coordinate schedules and logistics for new hires, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for all new employees.
  • Collaborate with Operations Site leaders to confirm communication with new hires has been established.
  • Regularly communicate with security personnel to assess ongoing changes to shift availability, to retain and maximize people inventory.
  • Partner with the Talent team to develop and implement retention strategies aimed at fostering a positive workplace culture and increasing employee satisfaction.
  • Provide ongoing support to new hires to ensure a seamless transition and integration into the organization.
  • Coordinate and attend regular dedicated site visits to ensure employee and client satisfaction, understand people-related needs, and create strategic initiatives to address concerns, increasing productivity, performance, and retention.
  • Provide administrative support for scheduling and coordination tasks, including managing calendars, arranging meetings, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Assist in generating reports and analyzing data related to employee placement and retention efforts.
  • Liaise with security personnel and site leadership to manage timeclock, payroll, Time off requests, call off management and internal technology systems data integrity.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains in employee onboarding, placement, and scheduling processes.
  • Actively contribute ideas and suggestions to enhance the overall employee experience and drive organizational success.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by management, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to contribute to the overall success of the team and organization.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, Workforce, or Account Management support roles.
  • Proficiency in managing schedules and coordinating processes in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience utilizing CRM, ATS, Time, or Scheduling technologies to maximize performance and new hire engagement.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and work closely with various stakeholders to meet organizational goals.
