About the position

The Human Resources Program Manager will be responsible for managing comprehensive project plans, leading change management efforts, and overseeing the development of project status reports. This role is crucial for ensuring smooth transitions to regular operations and maintaining best practices in project and change management within the Human Resources domain.

Responsibilities

  • Create and oversee comprehensive project plans, incorporating stakeholder feedback
  • Lead efforts to manage project changes, ensuring a smooth transition to regular operations
  • Regularly review project milestones and deliverables, making necessary adjustments to plans
  • Schedule and lead project status meetings, capturing notes and action items to facilitate productive dialogue
  • Manage project resources and documents, ensuring efficient organization
  • Assign tasks to the project team and monitor progress, ensuring timely completion of project objectives
  • Oversee the creation of project status reports, providing regular updates on accomplishments, risks, issues, and recommended solutions
  • Uphold best practices in project and change management within the Human Resources domain
  • Provide feedback to improve project execution practices and resources.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Proven experience as a Human Resources Program Manager or similar role in HR
  • Strong knowledge of HR functions and best practices
  • Outstanding project management skills with the ability to lead multiple projects at a time
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to develop strategic plans and implement them effectively
  • Solid understanding of labor laws and disciplinary procedures
  • Proven experience with HR metrics and Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS)
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion

Nice-to-haves

  • Professional certification in Human Resources (e.g., PHR/SPHR, SHRM-CP/SCP) is a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a diverse workforce and foster an inclusive team environment.
