About the position

The Recruiting Assistant at Lunch Bunch will support the recruitment efforts for culinary enrichment programs aimed at educating children about healthy eating. This part-time role involves sourcing, screening, and coordinating interviews for candidates applying to teach cooking classes, ensuring a positive experience for all candidates throughout the recruitment process.

Responsibilities

• Identify potential candidates through online job boards, social media, career fairs, and networking events.
• Create and manage job postings across various platforms and ensure they are regularly updated to attract top talent.
• Review resumes, conduct initial phone screenings to assess candidates' qualifications, and ensure they meet role requirements.
• Maintain clear and professional communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process to ensure a positive experience.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all candidate interactions in the recruitment database.
• Collaborate with the HR team to ensure a smooth onboarding process.
• Provide general administrative support to the HR team, including maintaining recruitment files and tracking candidate metrics.

Requirements

• Previous experience in recruitment, HR, or administrative support (preferably in education or culinary sectors).
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
