About the position

The Human Resources Recruitment Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the Chief People Officer by providing clerical and administrative assistance within the HR department. This position is focused on maintaining community inclusion and integration for individuals supported by The Arc Eastern Connecticut, while also managing recruitment functions and serving as a resource for employees and managers regarding HR-related inquiries.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clerical and administrative support to the Chief People Officer.
  • Assist with the recruiting function, including job postings and applicant screening.
  • Attend recruiting events to promote job openings.
  • Perform data entry, filing, and scanning tasks.
  • Assist with New Hire Orientation and ensure confidentiality as required by law.
  • Respond to inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Refer complex matters to the Chief People Officer.
  • Support day-to-day operations of the HR department.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's Degree or college courses in Administration or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of two years' experience in Human Resources.
  • Knowledge of ADP Workforce Now is highly desirable.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, and Word).
  • Well organized, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver's license is required.
