About the position

The Human Resources Representative (Entry Level) is responsible for providing administrative support in recruitment, onboarding, and database management. This role involves coordinating the new hire onboarding process, ensuring compliance with various requirements, and acting as a point of contact for staffing specialists. The position is hybrid, requiring full onsite presence for the first 30 days, followed by a reduced onsite schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees the New Hire Onboarding Process
  • Contacts new hires to inform them of onboarding details including Occupational Health and I-9 appointments
  • Answers questions from pending hires related to the onboarding process and trainings
  • Reviews I-9 work authorization documentation during virtual appointments
  • Processes new hires via PeopleSoft
  • Assigns and monitors compliance with necessary documents such as I-9, CORI, and HealthStream Learning
  • Ensures new hires are compliant with all hire-related requirements
  • Updates new hire checklist and confirms new hire file completion for uploading to OnBase
  • Handles UKG assignment scheduling
  • Handles PeopleSoft data changes including job code updates and salary changes
  • Assists with monthly market adjustment review
  • Assists with processing unemployment claims
  • Assists other HR support staff when needed or during peak periods.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or relevant work experience
  • 1-3 years' applicable experience in business or academia required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook
