About the position

The HR Shared Services Specialist at Point32Health is responsible for providing comprehensive HR support and services to colleagues and management across the organization. This role encompasses a variety of HR activities, including employee transactions, benefits administration, payroll processing, HRIS maintenance, and compliance, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive colleague experience.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for colleague inquiries related to HR policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Provide guidance and support to colleagues on HR-related matters, ensuring a positive colleague experience.
  • Process colleague transactions including new hires, terminations, promotions, and transfers in the HRIS.
  • Assist with payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Administer colleague benefits programs, including enrollments, changes, and terminations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date colleague records in the HRIS.
  • Generate HR reports and analyze data to support HR decision-making.
  • Ensure data integrity and confidentiality in all HR systems and processes.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Assist with audits and reporting requirements as needed.
  • Identify opportunities for improving HR processes and service delivery.
  • Participate in HR projects and initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of HR services.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR).
  • 2-4 years of experience in an HR role, preferably within an HR Shared Services or HR Operations environment.
  • Experience with HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM).
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and other HR-related software.
  • Solid understanding of HR principles, practices, and regulations.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to interact effectively with colleagues at all levels.
  • Knowledge of HR policies, employment laws, and regulatory requirements.
  • Customer service orientation and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
