About the position

We are seeking a dedicated Human Resources Specialist to join our team at Semilla HRC, located in Sun Valley, CA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various HR functions and play a key role in supporting the organization's human capital needs. As a Human Resources Specialist, you will be an integral part of our growing team, assisting with various business operations and contributing to the overall growth and success of our organization. This position provides an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in human resources while working in a dynamic environment. In this role, you will assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings, reviewing resumes, and scheduling interviews. You will also coordinate the onboarding process for new staff members, which includes preparing orientation materials and assisting with orientation sessions. Additionally, you will provide administrative support to Executive Management, including organizing files, maintaining databases, and preparing reports. It is essential to assist in managing HR-related documentation and ensure compliance with relevant policies and regulations. Another key responsibility will be to help organize and track required training, especially in the area of safety. The ideal candidate should possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace is required, along with reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license. A high energy and positive attitude, along with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • At least 21 years of age.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in human resources.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver license required.
  • High energy and a positive attitude, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
