About the position

The Human Resources Specialist at MartinFederal will provide specialized operational, administrative, and personnel management support to the Intelligence Community. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work directly with customers at all levels, ensuring HR core competencies are effectively supported and executed.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance on style and composition for military correspondence.
• Develop formats and templates for HR documentation.
• Update master suspense and tracking logs.
• Provide customer service support for all HR functions and duties.
• Assist in ensuring HR core competencies and key functions are properly supported and executed.
• Provide customer service to senior military and civilian personnel.
• Perform various Human Resources processes including retirement and recruitment support.
• Update Army Human Resources systems with timely and accurate data.
• Assist in developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Policies.
• Work with Microsoft 365 applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint.

Requirements

• Ten years of military/government work experience related to military and civilian administrative and human resources support.
• At least 5+ years' experience composing military correspondence.
• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and adjust to changing priorities.
• Excellent writing skills and collaborative work style.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Army Human Resources systems.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with extreme deadline pressures.
