About the position

This position is located in the Employment and Classification Section of the Human Resources Branch at the National Processing Center (NPC) in Jeffersonville, IN. The role involves performing human resources management functions and providing management advisory services. The selected individual will be responsible for planning and implementing personnel management services, developing procedures, and proposing solutions to complex staffing issues.

Responsibilities

• Plans and implements continuing personnel management services and/or programs in areas of specialty.
• Develops overall plans, procedures, and operating methods for assignments.
• Proposes and implements alternative solutions to solve unique or precedent-setting problems.
• Provides management advisory services requiring a high degree of technical skill.

Requirements

• Must meet all qualification requirements by the closing date of the announcement.
• Current and former Federal employees must have held a position at grade 11 for at least 52 weeks to qualify for grade 12.
• One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the grade 11 level in the Federal Service is required.
• Specialized experience includes performing highly technical management advisory services and applying human resources regulations and policies.

Nice-to-haves
