About the position

The Human Resources Specialist at Fenway Park plays a crucial role in supporting HR leadership with various administrative tasks. This position involves collecting HR metrics, coordinating meetings, and maintaining standard operating procedures (SOPs). The specialist will interact with visitors and employees, ensuring a professional and cheerful demeanor while performing essential HR functions.

Responsibilities

  • Perform administrative functions including collecting and distributing mail, ordering and stocking supplies, answering phones, and coordinating staff meetings.
  • Perform and maintain internal audits on essential HR analytics.
  • Greet customers, clients, and employees; answer inquiries or direct calls where necessary.
  • Create and maintain HR SOPs.
  • Assist with employee life-cycle tasks including onboarding and offboarding.
  • Operate technology, systems, and software such as voicemail systems, copy/scanners, personal computers, and MS Office.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
  • 2+ years administrative support experience.
  • Excellent written/interpersonal communication and organizational skills.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Ability to optimally connect with employees.
  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently.
  • Strong digital literacy is required of Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc), Internet, typing, other databases and spreadsheet software.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with pivot tables and Access is preferred.
