About the position

As a Human Resources Specialist/Generalist at Robroy Industries, you will play a crucial role in administering a broad range of HR policies, procedures, and programs. Your primary responsibility will be to maintain compliance with legal and organizational requirements across various HR functions, including talent acquisition, leave of absence (LOA) management, compensation, benefits administration, performance management, safety protocols, and training initiatives. You will be tasked with maintaining and updating employee data in systems such as UKG and Kronos, ensuring that data entry and filing deadlines are met to uphold compliance standards. In addition to data management, you will leverage your technical abilities to enhance team efficiency by understanding database capabilities and generating reports. Your role will also involve tracking attendance, hours worked, and other key metrics to support the HR function. You will be responsible for talent acquisition, which includes developing recruitment campaigns, conducting first-level screenings of candidates, coordinating the hiring process, and maintaining the applicant tracking system. Onboarding new hires will be a key aspect of your responsibilities, where you will review and verify employment documents to ensure a smooth transition into the company. You will assist with benefit administration, including managing open enrollment periods, processing changes, and supporting new hires with their benefits. Additionally, you will support employee and community events, assist the HR Manager with various projects, and coordinate the safety team and program. Maintaining HR information systems to ensure compliance and support data reporting needs will also be part of your daily tasks. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.
  • PHR or SHRMS-CP certification preferred.
  • Two plus years of recent human resources experience, including talent acquisition.
  • Manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of Human Resources laws and regulations.
  • Prior administrative support experience required.
  • Excellent technology skills, including database reporting and Microsoft Office proficiency.
