Responsibilities

  • Provide recruiting and hiring support to meet the university's staffing needs.
  • Schedule recruitment plan meetings with hiring managers to assess needs.
  • Prepare job descriptions and ensure compliance with minimum qualifications.
  • Consult with HR teams on position updates and requisition creation.
  • Create and upload position descriptions for job requisitions.
  • Devise recruitment strategies to build a pipeline of qualified applicants.
  • Train hiring managers and search committees on recruiting processes.
  • Determine selection criteria for candidates in collaboration with hiring managers.
  • Place and update job postings across various media and platforms.
  • Research and recommend new sources for candidate recruiting.
  • Conduct follow-ups with managers to assess recruiting effectiveness.
  • Create and implement candidate hiring processes for a positive experience.
  • Generate interview questions based on position requirements.
  • Respond to applicant inquiries and maintain applicant tracking systems.
  • Onboard new employees and ensure completion of onboarding steps.
  • Gather and prepare recruitment records per management guidelines.
  • Attend System meetings related to responsibilities as needed.
  • Process non-immigrant and immigrant petitions and advise on immigration employment.
  • Assist with the direct hire process and ensure data validity.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business, or related field or equivalent experience.
  • Two years of related experience in human resources or recruitment.
  • Proficiency with database, spreadsheet, and word processing programs.
  • Strong analytical and report writing skills.
  • Excellent oral, written, and presentation communication skills.
  • Proactive and independent with strong initiative.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and negotiation tactics.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with social media, C.V. databases, and professional networks.
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems effectively.
  • Proficiency in documenting processes and keeping up with industry trends.
  • Familiarity with laws and regulations applicable to hiring and recruitment.
