Responsibilities

  • Provide customer support and guidance related to student, graduate, and adjunct faculty employment processes.
  • Compile reports and analyze data for validity and accuracy.
  • Oversee and evaluate new student hire request submissions.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for hiring processes.
  • Manage the direct hire process from request through onboarding for student workers, graduate assistants, and adjunct faculty.
  • Monitor hire submissions for accuracy and resolve errors with relevant departments.
  • Maintain and process records in HRIS (Workday) and ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with various departments to enhance the hiring experience for students and faculty.
  • Develop and present training for hiring managers and staffing support personnel.
  • Compile internal personnel reports and assist in separation processing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in applicable field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Two years of related experience.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and verify data from multiple formats.
  • Knowledge of data retrieval and storage systems.
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to build partnerships.
  • Excellent communication skills to ensure understanding.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems effectively.
  • Demonstrated commitment to confidentiality of sensitive information.

Nice-to-haves

  • Proficiency in applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems.
  • Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring.
