About the position

The Human Resources Specialist (Labor/Employee Relations) will provide guidance on the application of collective bargaining agreements, grievance processing, and resolution under negotiated procedures. This role involves consulting and negotiating, as well as researching legal precedents to define the parameters of cases. The specialist will apply knowledge of labor relations concepts and practices, including collaborative approaches to labor relations.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance on collective bargaining agreements and grievance processing.

• Apply labor relations concepts and practices in various situations.

Requirements

• Must be a US Citizen.
• Must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-04 grade level.
• Experience assisting senior HR specialists in labor relations and employee relations services.
• Knowledge of human resource concepts, principles, and practices.
