About the position

In this position, you will provide administrative and human resources support to the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) in Kihei, HI. Your role will involve collaborating closely with hiring managers to assess personnel and staffing requirements, ensuring that the agency's human resources needs are met effectively. You will be responsible for preparing essential HR documentation, including the Request for Personnel Action (SF-52) form, which is crucial for initiating personnel actions within the agency. Additionally, you will retrieve workforce management information reports and analyze the data contained within these reports. This will require you to verify the accuracy of the report data and take corrective actions as necessary to reconcile any discrepancies. Your expertise will also be needed in providing guidance regarding timekeeping policies and procedures, which includes determining the need for corrections and inputting those corrections into the timekeeping system. Another key aspect of your role will be managing assigned personnel in the Deployment Tracking System (DTS). You will be responsible for making required updates to this system as needed, ensuring that all personnel information is current and accurate. This position is vital in supporting FEMA's mission and ensuring that human resources operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities
