About the position

The Human Resources Specialist (MIL) position within the Department of Defense is responsible for managing and coordinating personnel assignments related to the Air Defense Artillery (ADA) Military Occupational Specialty (MOS). This role involves implementing processes to ensure proper personnel distribution, maintaining personnel data, and coordinating with external agencies to support the Army's accessions enterprise.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill ADA MOS assignments in accordance with approved guidance.
• Assign follow-on ADA AIT start dates based on published class dates.
• Maintain Personnel Trend and Personnel Projection Data.
• Establish and maintain access to Army systems of record and utilize MS Office suite for data queries.
• Coordinate with external agencies across the larger accessions enterprise.
• Maintain historical ADA MOS assignments and AIT assignments.

Requirements

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
• One year of specialized experience in personnel management related to ADA MOS assignments or a Master's degree in a relevant field.
• Knowledge of enlisted force structure and ADA career field.
