About the position

The Human Resources Specialist at Fairlane Products is responsible for sourcing, identifying, screening, and hiring talent for various roles within the company. This part-time position requires a keen understanding of recruitment processes and the ability to create effective onboarding and employee engagement plans. The role emphasizes collaboration with management and external vendors to maintain high standards in employee relations and performance evaluation.

Responsibilities

  • Create a recruitment plan and calendar according to operation and sales projections.
  • Generate official internal documents such as offer letters, appointment letters, salary slips, and warning letters.
  • Create onboarding plans and educate newly hired employees on HR policies, internal procedures, and regulations.
  • Maintain physical and digital files for employees and their documents, benefits, and attendance records.
  • Create employee engagement plans, get necessary budget approval, and initiate activities.
  • Collaborate with outside vendors, upper management, and employees to maintain CSR standards conscripted by authorities.
  • Evaluate employee performance and appraise their pay scale accordingly.
  • Take appropriate disciplinary action against employees who violate rules and regulations and address employee grievances.

Requirements

  • Work experience in talent acquisition, recruitment, or similar roles.
  • Familiarity with social media, C.V. databases, and professional networks.
  • Experience with full-cycle recruiting, using various interview techniques and evaluation methods.
  • Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
  • Knowledge of administrative tasks and responsibilities.
  • Great computer skills, including data entry, data processing, communication tools, payroll, and human resources software.
  • A keen understanding of the requirements for each role in the company.
  • Proficiency in documenting processes and keeping up with industry trends.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Proven success in sales may in some cases substitute for direct recruitment experience.
  • Certification obtained from the HR Certification Institute would be advantageous.
