About the position

The Human Resources Specialist (Recruitment & Placement) position at the Department of the Air Force is primarily responsible for planning, developing, and executing a comprehensive range of recruitment and placement services. This role involves providing advisory services related to affirmative employment and managing recruitment processes for assigned organizations. The specialist will also participate in various initiatives and projects aimed at enhancing recruitment and placement strategies.

Responsibilities

• Provide recruitment and placement services to assigned installation-level organizations.
• Offer affirmative employment advisory services.
• Participate in special initiatives, studies, and projects related to recruitment and placement.
• Prepare written correspondence and other documentation related to recruitment activities.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• At least one year of specialized experience at the GS-07 level or equivalent, including interpreting and applying Federal HR recruitment and placement concepts.
• A master's degree or equivalent graduate degree, or two years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree, in a relevant field.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
