About the position

As a Human Resources Coordinator at Baja Insurance Services, Inc., you will play a key role in supporting our employees and ensuring the smooth operation of our HR functions. This position is essential for maintaining employee satisfaction and compliance with company policies while assisting with various HR initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting with recruitment efforts, including posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
  • Conducting new hire orientations and facilitating the onboarding process for new employees.
  • Administering employee benefits programs and assisting employees with benefit-related inquiries.
  • Maintaining accurate employee records and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Assisting with performance management processes, including employee evaluations and disciplinary actions.
  • Providing support to employees and management on HR-related issues, including employee relations and conflict resolution.
  • Assisting with HR projects and initiatives to improve efficiency and employee satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a Human Resources role, preferably in the insurance or financial services industry.
  • Knowledge of HR principles, practices, and regulations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Computer literacy skills.
