About the position
The Human Resources Specialist at Hydro will serve as a Subject Matter Expert in SAP Employee Central, providing guidance and support to the HR organization. This role is integral to ensuring smooth HR processes, data management, and system functionality within the Global Business Services (GBS) HR team. The specialist will analyze HR data, maintain HRIS applications, and collaborate with various stakeholders to enhance HR services.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a functional and operational point of contact for all HRIS users and issues.
- Provide first line support to customers, answering HR policy questions and resolving requests.
- Perform system configuration maintenance and implement changes to the HRIS system in partnership with IT.
- Create and maintain documentation on program process maps, templates, and workflows.
- Act as a change management champion for HRIS processes and policy updates.
- Coordinate and assist with training stakeholders on HRIS systems as needed.
- Collect and compile HR metrics and data from various sources, generating reports and queries.
- Maintain data integrity in the HRIS, coordinating data audits and system modifications.
- Monitor daily error payroll integration system reporting and conduct data audits.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of HRIS experience.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience with SAP EC modules, preferred.
- Knowledge of SuccessFactors and UltiPro (UKG) preferred.
- Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills and Business Intelligence (BI) Reporting skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and multi-task effectively.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with SAP SuccessFactors and UltiPro (UKG).
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite and Business Intelligence (BI) Reporting.
