Responsibilities

• Assist other Human Resources Specialists in analyzing, planning, coordinating, and executing civilian personnel functions.
• Provide expert advice to senior leaders on civilian personnel management programs and policies.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on assigned personnel special emphasis programs and provide guidance regarding these programs.
• Analyze and evaluate program execution, recognizing problems and proposing solutions.
• Develop recommendations for new methods or procedural changes.

Requirements

• One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service.
• Experience advising on civilian HR management functions including recruitment and accessions.
• Experience coordinating hiring actions and assisting management with documentation.
• Advanced understanding of HR management principles, concepts, regulations, and practices.
