About the position

The Human Resources Specialist position at Phase Technologies involves managing various HR functions in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The role focuses on recruitment, employee benefits, and maintaining compliance with employment laws while fostering effective communication within the team and with external partners.

Responsibilities

  • Screening resumes
  • Performing in-person and phone interviews with candidates
  • Administering appropriate company assessments
  • Performing reference and background checks
  • Making recommendations to company hiring managers
  • Coordinating interviews with the hiring managers
  • Following up on the interview process status
  • Communicating employer information and benefits during screening process
  • Staying current on the company's organization structure, personnel policy, and federal and state laws regarding employment practices
  • Serving as a liaison with area employment agencies, colleges, and industry associations
  • Participating in career fairs
  • Completing timely reports on employment activity
  • Assisting employees with benefits enrollment and questions.

Requirements

  • Human Resources-related field experience (2-3 years)
  • Experience with employment benefits
  • Recruitment experience
  • Experience with onboarding programs
  • Experience with Microsoft Suite (Word, Teams and Excel)
