About the position

The Human Resources Specialist at Dean Dorton is a full-time role focused on supporting the full employee life cycle, from onboarding to performance management. This position involves collaboration with HR Generalists and team leadership to ensure efficient HR operations and enhance employee success in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with HR Generalists to support the employee life cycle for team members.
  • Assist in executing the performance management process and strategy.
  • Serve as a resource for team members regarding benefits, policies, and HR programs.
  • Support the exit process through overseeing processes and participating in exit interviews.
  • Play a key role in new hire onboarding, collaborating with hiring managers.
  • Manage logistics and administration of onboarding, including scheduling and compliance.
  • Facilitate new hire orientations and handle all new hire paperwork.
  • Analyze feedback from new hire surveys to improve the onboarding experience.
  • Assist in developing and managing onboarding education materials.
  • Manage employee life cycle updates in the HRIS (ADP Workforce Now).
  • Partner with HR team members on special projects and initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business management, human resources, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of hands-on HR experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving and supporting team needs.
