About the position

The HR Assistant III position is a temporary contract role based in Saint Petersburg, FL, designed for a duration of over five months. The role is hybrid, requiring in-office attendance on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays from 9 AM to 5 PM. The primary responsibilities include performing HR Generalist duties such as onboarding new employees, managing HR workflows, and facilitating employee transitions. The HR Assistant will also be responsible for organizing orientation for new hires, managing and analyzing HR reports, preparing meeting materials, and maintaining HR records. Additionally, the role involves managing the interview process for junior HR talent and ordering necessary supplies. As an HR Specialist, the individual will coordinate employee relations events, such as Bring Your Child to Work Day and Volunteer Day. This includes overseeing all logistics, from sending invites and arranging catering to managing presenters and assisting with content development. The position requires a proactive approach to ensure smooth operations within the HR department and to support various HR initiatives effectively.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Candidates must have received a Bachelor's degree within the last 12 months or a Master's degree within the last 12 months with no more than a 5-month gap in education history.
  • Possess a 3.0 GPA or higher.
  • Prior internship or office experience preferred.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
