The Cosumnes Community Services District is seeking to establish an eligibility list for the classification of Human Resources Specialist. Under general supervision, the Human Resources Specialist will engage in all aspects of the recruitment and hiring process, which includes developing and posting job announcements, reviewing applications, administering selection tools, conducting interviews, and maintaining eligibility lists. The role also involves providing new employee orientation, managing benefits administration, and ensuring compliance with various leave policies such as FMLA and workers' compensation. Additionally, the specialist will conduct payroll-related tasks, maintain confidentiality of sensitive information, and provide professional service to both CSD personnel and the public. The salary range for this position is between $29.33 and $41.98 per hour, with new employees typically starting at step 1 of the salary range. Higher starting salaries may be considered based on experience, education, or unique skills.
