About the position

The Human Resources Specialist at International SOS Government Medical Services is responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support to the HR department. This role serves as the first point of contact for HR-related inquiries and ensures timely processing of HR transactions while delivering exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders. The position involves onboarding, offboarding, payroll assistance, and maintaining employee records, among other HR functions.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for incoming HR inquiries via the HR Ticketing System.
  • Respond to HR tickets in a timely and effective manner from employees and managers.
  • Provide administrative support functions necessary for HR operations, including onboarding and offboarding.
  • Answer questions related to the ADP payroll system and Success Factors (Employee Central).
  • Assist with contractor setup and maintenance.
  • Work with HR Business Partners to ensure proper setup in the performance management system.
  • File employee paperwork into employee files accurately.
  • Run routine HR reports and perform additional ad hoc reporting as needed.
  • Provide documentation for HR audits (internal and external).
  • Backup for distribution of HR communications.
  • Interact with HR Business Partners, IT, and Facilities to ensure seamless processes for new hires, transfers, and offboarding.
  • Stay updated with the latest HR trends and best practices.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 1 - 2 years of HR experience and/or administrative experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Experience using IT skills, particularly in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; Visio is a plus.
  • Typing speed of 40 wpm.
  • Knowledge of confidentiality in the workplace.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with ADP and Success Factors is desirable.
  • Proven ability to liaise with internal and external customers professionally.
  • Experience in promoting and implementing good customer care practices.
