About the position

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Human Resources Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, and compliance with employment labor laws. This position requires strong organizational skills, proficiency in HR software, and the ability to manage sensitive information with discretion.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the recruitment process, including sourcing candidates through various channels and conducting interviews.
  • Utilize HR systems such as PeopleSoft, Paylocity, UltiPro, and SAP for data collection and human capital management.
  • Ensure compliance with employment labor laws and company policies throughout the hiring process.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and assist with workforce management tasks.
  • Support contract management for temporary or contract employees.
  • Collaborate with management to address employee concerns and improve workplace culture.
  • Conduct training sessions on HR-related topics as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience in HR sourcing and recruitment processes.
  • Familiarity with HR software such as PeopleSoft, Paylocity, UltiPro, SAP, or similar systems.
  • Strong understanding of employment labor law and compliance regulations.
  • Excellent data collection and analysis skills to support decision-making processes.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive employee information.

Nice-to-haves

  • Leadership experience (1 year preferred).
