Responsibilities

  • Monitor and maintain non-exempt recruitment activities
  • Identify/source, manage and monitor the effectiveness of recruiting sources for potential employees
  • Maintain internal systems for applicant tracking
  • Develop promotional literature and advertisements to assist with recruiting activities
  • Assist with prescreening and interviewing applicants and coordinate the scheduling of interviews
  • Perform reference verifications, applicant rejections and act as an ongoing liaison with pending new hires
  • Track and monitor FMLA program for the site
  • Assist employees with basic benefit questions
  • Assist HR site leadership with employee engagement activities
  • Participate in self-development activities and training of others especially in areas of recruitment and human resource practices
  • Recommend and implement methods to increase the quality of products and/or service
  • Exhibit safety awareness and safe work practices

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field
  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience in Human Resources
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume
