About the position

CTG is seeking a Human Resources Specialist to support various HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, record keeping, payroll assistance, compliance, employee relations, and event coordination. This role is essential for maintaining HR practices that comply with regulations and for fostering a positive employee experience.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with job postings, resume screening, and scheduling interviews.
  • Coordinate new hire orientations and ensure all onboarding paperwork is completed.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in both paper and digital formats.
  • Support payroll processing by collecting and verifying timekeeping information.
  • Ensure HR practices comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Respond to internal and external HR-related inquiries or requests and provide assistance.
  • Organize HR events, training sessions, and seminars.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in an HR role or administrative position is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency with HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
