About the position

The HR Generalist Sr. Analyst at Aramark is a pivotal role responsible for providing comprehensive support to both managers and employees regarding HR policies and practices. This position involves researching and investigating employee concerns, and making informed recommendations that foster positive employee relations. The primary focus is to act as a resource for management and employees in addressing day-to-day workplace issues, ensuring that all interactions are handled with professionalism and confidentiality. In this role, the HR Generalist will resolve general employee relations issues by providing direction and recommendations to leadership at all levels. This includes ensuring fairness and consistency in the application of policies and practices. The position requires consultation with managers on compliance and employment-related matters, as well as investigating and resolving employee complaints and concerns that arise from various sources, including the employee hotline. The HR Generalist will conduct interviews, prepare relevant documentation in accordance with investigation guidelines, and recommend appropriate resolutions to complaints. This includes developing action plans and following up to ensure that resolutions are implemented effectively. The role also involves interaction with both internal and external resources to gather necessary information to facilitate the completion of tasks. Additionally, the HR Generalist will coordinate all leave of absence cases, ensuring compliance with related policies and employment laws. Daily review of dashboard metrics is essential to optimize efficiency and ensure that work is completed in line with service level agreements (SLAs). The HR Generalist will also assist with various HR projects and initiatives as needed, including auditing the SharePoint site to ensure that information is current and accessible. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in employee relations or related experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in HR or equivalent experience required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to communicate with tact and diplomacy.
  • Ability to influence others on policies, practices, and procedures.
  • Effective at capturing and synthesizing information from multiple parties.
  • Solid understanding of employment laws.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with case management technology preferred.
  • Bilingual preferred.
