About the position

The Human Resources Specialist at TreeHouse Foods is responsible for managing HR administrative activities, full cycle recruiting, onboarding, and supporting employee relations for approximately 700 employees in a manufacturing environment. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring effective HR operations and fostering a positive workplace culture.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and presents new-hire orientations, including completion of new-hire paperwork and E-Verify I-9s
• Manages the recruiting efforts of hourly employees, including weekly postings, interview scheduling, background checks, and offer letters
• Administers daily data entry, extraction, and reporting in Workday HRIS
• Maintains employee files and records, including personnel and disciplinary records
• Coordinates and assists in employee relations activities, including planning and execution of community relations and problem resolution

Requirements

• 1-3 years of Human Resources experience preferred
• Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably food manufacturing
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend the English language
• Proficient in typing on a personal PC and viewing a PC monitor
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends
