This role is essential in maintaining communication with candidates, the recruiting team, and supervisors regarding the status of onboarding tasks and appointments. In this position, the HR Onboarding Specialist will assist candidates in completing onboarding tasks and required background and clearance paperwork. They will ensure that all onboarding and compliance requirements are met, and will communicate the onboarding status and clearances to managers and other stakeholders. The specialist will also be responsible for verifying candidate information and addressing any questions or concerns that may arise during the onboarding process. Key responsibilities include coordinating with the recruiting team and other HR staff regarding both internal and external candidates, initiating hires and staffing changes through Workday, and conducting onboarding appointments to collect and verify required documentation. The specialist will maintain a clearance database, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of new hire processing and information.
