About the position

The Human Resources Specialist at Baptist Health is responsible for executing the new hire onboarding process to ensure a positive employee experience aligned with the organization's mission, vision, and values. This role also involves serving as an ambassador for hospital recognition programs and assisting with the daily operations of the Human Resources department.

Responsibilities

  • Execute the new hire onboarding process to promote a positive employee experience.
  • Serve as an ambassador for hospital recognition programs and events.
  • Assist with the administration of day-to-day operations of the Human Resources functions and duties.

Requirements

  • Associate Degree preferred.
  • Previous experience in HR or department administrative support role preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Sharepoint.
  • Previous experience with HRIS system(s), specifically, Workday, preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Skilled in database management and record keeping.
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service.
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills; ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to protect confidential nature of information within HR department.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Enthusiastic and team-oriented with a service-oriented and mission-driven attitude.
  • Fast-paced and results-oriented with the ability to work in a timely manner with multiple deadlines and competing requirements.
  • Ability to travel, occasional evening and weekend work, and to adjust to other needs of the department.
  • Ability to work well independently or within a team setting.
  • Self-starter.
