About the position

The Human Resources Specialist at The Berman Law Group will be instrumental in developing and implementing HR strategies that align with the firm's mission and objectives. This role focuses on enhancing workplace culture, managing talent acquisition, and ensuring compliance with HR policies while fostering employee engagement and satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain clear HR policies and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Coordinate the technical onboarding process, including setting up computers and necessary accounts.
• Act as a point of contact for employee issues, facilitating resolution in a fair and timely manner.
• Oversee the full recruitment lifecycle, including resume screening and interview coordination.
• Implement a seamless onboarding experience using video training modules and an employee hub.
• Continuously evaluate and improve onboarding and training processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in human resources management, preferably within a law firm or professional services environment.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proven ability to build and maintain effective working relationships at all levels of the organization.

Nice-to-haves

• Master's degree or HR certification is a plus.
• Proven experience in developing and implementing structured onboarding processes and performance evaluation systems.
