About the position

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Human Resources Specialist to join our team at Gourmet Pie and Cafe. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in managing various HR functions, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and fostering a positive workplace culture. Responsibilities

• Manage the recruitment process, including job postings, screening candidates, and conducting interviews.
• Oversee employee evaluation processes to ensure fair assessments and development opportunities.
• Implement and maintain effective succession planning strategies to support organizational growth.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and other labor laws.
• Utilize HR software systems such as ADP, SAP, Dayforce, Ceridian, and ATS for efficient data collection and management.
• Assist in the development of training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
• Provide support for employee relations issues and facilitate conflict resolution.
• Maintain accurate employee records and handle sensitive information with confidentiality.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in HR software systems including ADP, SAP, Dayforce, Ceridian, and ATS.
• Excellent data collection and analysis skills to inform HR decisions.
• Experience in employee evaluation processes and performance management.
• Ability to develop effective succession planning strategies.
• Strong recruiting skills with a focus on attracting top talent.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships across all levels of the organization.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks effectively.
