About the position

The Human Resources Specialist at TrueNet Communications is a pivotal role responsible for sourcing, interviewing, selecting, and hiring the best candidates to join the TrueNet team. This position encompasses the entire strategic sourcing recruiting process, from collaborating with hiring managers to understand position requirements to managing the closing and offer stages. The role also includes supporting Spanish-speaking managers and employees, making it essential for candidates to be bilingual. This is a high-volume, high-touch position that demands a passion for fast-paced recruiting and the development of effective sourcing strategies to identify and assess top talent. In addition to recruitment, the Human Resources Specialist will handle various HR functions, including processing new hires and terminations, managing employee relations, overseeing benefits and compensation, and utilizing human resource information systems (HRIS). The specialist will evaluate job functions and duties in alignment with organizational goals and will develop, evaluate, and consult on human resource practices within their area of specialty. Ensuring compliance with workplace regulations is also a critical aspect of this role. The position requires managing the full life cycle of recruitment across multiple service lines, including Construction, Professional Services, Cable Television, Wireless, Broadband Engineering, and Telecommunications. The specialist will develop and manage nationwide strategic recruiting programs to advance TrueNet's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives, generating a diverse candidate pool through various sourcing methods, including job boards and social media platforms. Establishing strong partnerships with hiring teams is crucial to quickly assess business needs and determine candidate profiles, ultimately driving the talent strategy to attract exceptional talent across the organization. The Human Resources Specialist will also focus on enhancing the candidate experience throughout the recruiting process, acting as a point of contact and building influential relationships with candidates. They will provide value-added HR business delivery, combining high-touch internal consulting with strong metric-driven service and transaction support. Additionally, the specialist will lead the employee experience for their assigned division, managing onboarding, performance management, employee engagement, and retention practices. Addressing and resolving employee issues promptly and effectively while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and policies is also a key responsibility of this role.

Responsibilities

  • Manage full life cycle recruitment across multiple service lines and disciplines.
  • Develop and manage nationwide strategic recruiting programs to advance Diversity, Equity and Inclusion initiatives.
  • Generate a diverse candidate population using various methods including job boards and personal networking.
  • Sourcing candidates via social media outlets such as Twitter, LinkedIn, and Facebook.
  • Establish strong partnerships with hiring teams to assess business needs and determine candidate profiles.
  • Partner with leadership and hiring managers to drive talent strategy and attract exceptional talent.
  • Stay current with market trends and employment conditions to fine-tune sourcing strategies.
  • Drive exceptional candidate experience throughout the recruiting process.
  • Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process.
  • Provide value-added human resources business delivery with high touch client-focused consulting.
  • Lead and direct the full employee experience for assigned division, including onboarding and performance management.
  • Manage employee relations by addressing and resolving employee issues promptly and effectively.
  • Facilitate conflict resolution and advise on job performance issues.
  • Manage annual performance management processes and coach leaders on employee relation initiatives.
  • Provide front-line support for all HRIS systems and maintain HR policy guidance.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws regarding HR activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition.
  • 3+ years of experience in human resources preferred.
  • Experience with UKG Ready strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience applying independent judgment on sensitive employee issues.
  • Strategic thinking capability and hands-on HR plan implementation experience.
  • Intermediate HRIS and Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to prioritize and complete assignments accurately and timely.
  • Strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, oral, and written communication skills.
