About the position

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Specialist to join our team in San Jose, CA. This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from $75,000 to $100,000 per year. The HR Specialist will be responsible for managing various HR functions, including compensation management, talent development, and personnel management. The role requires a deep understanding of employment and labor laws, as well as the ability to navigate complex HR issues in a multinational environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in human resources management and will be adept at ensuring compliance with company policies and local regulations. In this role, you will oversee payroll management for employees, ensuring accurate and timely processing of salaries, bonuses, and other allowances. You will conduct market compensation surveys and analyses to support the development and implementation of compensation strategies and talent incentive programs. Additionally, you will manage personnel movements such as promotions, terminations, and transfers, ensuring that all processes adhere to regulations and company policies. You will also coordinate and manage employees' international travel arrangements, ensuring efficient and smooth travel logistics. As part of your responsibilities, you will lead talent development initiatives, build an effective recruitment system, and ensure smooth onboarding of new hires. You will coordinate training and career development plans to align employee growth with the company's objectives. Furthermore, you will handle various HR administrative tasks, including attendance management, bonus distribution, benefits implementation, employee training, accommodation arrangements, and travel management. You will also manage employee status changes, including work visas and related matters, ensuring compliance with U.S. immigration laws and company policies.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • At least 1 year of HR management experience, preferably in a multinational or international organization.
  • Strong knowledge of compensation management, labor law, and HR processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle complex HR issues effectively.
  • Cross-cultural communication skills are a must.
